P E O N I E S are back!
My favorite flower is back in season and I’m thrilled I was able to snag a few before they were sold out. The simplicity and beauty of peonies make it a great statement piece to any living space. I also purchased a bouquet of sunflowers because who doesn’t enjoy a yellow burst of sunshine!

Summer Solstice, I can’t wait for you to grace us with your warm presence next month! As a Southern California native and a frequent visitor to the Hawaiian Islands, ocean air and salty mermaid hair are what come to mind when I think of the summer months. What’s your sweetest indulgence? Mine is coffee and LA has some of my all-time favorite coffee shops. Last night, I visited Cafe Dulce in downtown LA and this place never fails. They always provide great tasting coffee with beautifully crafted latte art that’s worth photographing.

Spring is in the air so I am back at the flower shop picking up these beauties. Roses are always a staple in my living space.
F R E S H Strawberries!
There’s something about picking your own fruit that makes it taste sweeter. As a kid, I used to pick strawberries with my dad in our backyard when they were in season. The Carlsbad Strawberry Co. definitely brought back memories & made me feel like a kid again.
